About this event

The Jazz Room lands at The Cargo Shed in Tauranga, turning the room into a nod to 1920s New Orleans for a night of hot jazz. Expect a mix of ragtime, brass and blues, with room for the improvisation that's always been jazz's calling card.

The programme leans on standards — St. James Infirmary, When The Saints Go Marching In, On the Sunny Side of the Street and Hello Dolly among them.

Runs about an hour. Seating is at shared tables, assigned first-come within each zone. Grab a drink from the bar and settle in.
