About this event

The Jazz Room brings a night of New Orleans jazz to The Piano on Armagh Street in the Christchurch central city. Expect a run through the standards you'd know from the genre's early days, with room for improvisation along the way.

The programme leans on the classics: St. James Infirmary, When The Saints Go Marching In, On the Sunny Side of the Street and Hello Dolly among them.

Musicians and vocalists on stage, a bar for a drink between numbers, and a 60-minute set. Theatre-style seating is allocated within each zone.
