About this event

The Jazz Alchemists are back at Bird's Basement, the city-block jazz room tucked under Melbourne's CBD. It's a fortnightly residency, so this is one stop in an ongoing run rather than a one-off.

The draw here is improvisation — sets that shift depending on who's in the room and where the players take it on the night.

If you're after Melbourne's jazz circuit doing what it does best, this is the kind of bill worth a look. Doors and set times as listed by the venue.
