About this event

Merewether Fats' Blues Jam has run on the first Thursday of each month for over a decade, drawing musicians and fans across all levels. Mark 'Merewether Fats' Salter's house band kicks things off at 7:30pm, then opens the floor to jammers—solo, duo or ensemble—for roughly three songs each. The night mines blues, roots and folk: acoustic Delta styles, Chicago shuffles, Detroit boogies, Bo Diddley rhythms and deeper cuts. If you're keen to play, borrow from the house band or link up with players on the night.
