About this event

La Maldita Primavera lands at Max Watts for what's billed as its biggest Melbourne edition yet, after a run of sold-out shows around town. It's a night of Latin ballads played by some of Melbourne's Latin musicians, leaning on heartbreak anthems and singalong classics.

The setlist pulls from the 70s through 90s, with songs from Juan Gabriel, Rocio Durcal, Luis Miguel, Selena, Amanda Miguel, Nino Bravo and Ana Gabriel.

This is a celebration of those records rather than the original artists performing. Doors at Max Watts, $30 a ticket.
