Formed in 1989 by Nuclear Holocausto Vengeance, BEHERIT quickly gained a reputation for their raw, unfiltered sound and blasphemous themes, laying the foundation for the atmospheric and ritualistic side of black metal. Their musicranges from savage and chaotic to deeply meditative, embodying both the aggression and mysticism of the genre.
