About this event

Free entry, front bar, early doors at Bar Open in Fitzroy. The Four Scoops are four working musicians from different backgrounds, all tied together by a love of back-beat groove.

Their repertoire wanders from blues shouters like Wynonie Harris through Louis Jordan's jazz back-beat into fifties crooner territory, with the odd bolero take on Cold Chisel and Dragon thrown in.

A 6:30 to 8:30 set on a Friday night, no cover charge — easy enough to wander in and see where the night takes you.
