About this event

Ben Carr Quartet channels Sun Ra's cosmic energy for an evening of contemporary jazz rooted in late-80s M-Base. Free entry, doors at 6:30pm at Bar Open's Front Bar. Expect compositions that move through abstract sonic territory—bonfires, mountain trails, still water—built on improvisation and searching for something beyond the obvious.
