About this event

Smoking Vinyl is a Friday-night vinyl odyssey at Bar Open's front bar, kicking off at 9pm with a rotating crew of diggers—Jon, SaySo, Dr Graham and mates—spinning deep cuts across Afro jazz, 70s funk, kraut rock, spiritual jazz, and pre-80s fusion. The set list ricochets from Salif Keita to Can to Snarky Puppy, with local contemporary bands woven through. Free entry, no pretension, just engaging grooves and virtuosic solos that'll keep you rooted till 11:30pm.
