About this event

Art As Catharsis turns 15, and Crowbar's hosting a night that cuts across the label's entire run—heavy, psychedelic, ambient, experimental, uncategorisable. The Valley's the home of this crew: bands working at the edges of genre, resisting easy sorting. Tonight's Brisbane snapshot brings Deafcult, Hope Drone, hazards of swimming naked, Big Dead, hana(v)macklin, Joseph Rabjohns & Lachlan Dale. A decade and a half of championing Australian underground music that pushes outward and digs deeper.
