About this event

Melbourne Cup Day at Mackay Turf Club in Ooralea, with live coverage of the race on the big screens and a long lunch built around it. The package includes a two-course luncheon, a glass of sparkling on arrival and five drink tickets.

Live music comes from Mango Junction, and there's TAB facilities and on-course bookies for the punters who want a flutter. Fashions on the Field gives you a reason to dress up.

Whether you're in it for the racing, the band or just a long lunch with mates, it's a solid way to spend Cup Day.
