- "Anxiety" is a song by rapper and singer Doechii, who originally released it on YouTube on November 10, 2019. The song was re-recorded in 2025 after it began to gain traction on video sharing app TikTok, and it was re-released to streaming platforms on March 4, 2025. Doechii originally recorded this song in 2019 in her bedroom for her self-released mixtape Coven Music Sessions, but it was not released on streaming platforms until 2025. It prominently samples Gotye & Kimbra's 2011 song & 2012 #1 hit Somebody That I Used to Know which in turn samples Luiz Bonfá's "Seville" instrumental (1967). It was included on the reissue of her second mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal (Extended). On September 15, 2023, rapper Sleepy Hallow released a song of the same name featuring Doechii as a single from his album, Boy Meets World, with the song's chorus containing a sample of Doechii's original 2019 demo. In early 2025, Doechii's original recording of the song went viral on the social media platform TikTok. Subsequently, she posted a video to the platform to suggest that the formal release of Anxiety was forthcoming. Anxiety debuted at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 the week of March 22, 2025. It rose to #10 the next week, becoming Doechii's first top 10 single and her highest-charting song at the moment. It slipped to #14 then rose to #12 then slipped again to #14 before re-peaking at #10 and reaching a new peak of #9 the week after in May 2025.
