About this event

Ville Karvonen is a Finnish-born songwriter and producer who's landed on the Fleurieu Peninsula after a fair bit of travel — Finland, Tasmania, and plenty of hours busking down Rundle Mall to sharpen the craft.

He records out of a self-built caravan studio, cutting his own material and other artists' work in a setup that's about as DIY as it gets. The voice does the heavy lifting live: rugged, full of soul, front and centre.

Catch him at the Wheaty in Thebarton — $17 on a Wednesday night in June.
