Ups and Downs are marking 40 years since their acclaimed mini-album Sleepless with a run of four shows. They'll play the record in full for the first time, then shift into a second set of hits and fan favourites. The 1986 release—which includes the indie hit 'The Living Kind' and a cover of Neil Diamond's 'Solitary Man'—sits high on most lists of essential Australian underground rock from the paisley and jangle-pop era. They're also releasing new EP Radio Is Dead alongside the tour.
