About this event

Melbourne trio UGLIEBOY are launching their second EP, Communication Breakdown, on an east coast run. The record—independently produced by vocalist Oakley Boyd and mastered by Guy Faletolu (Amyl & The Sniffers, Way Dynamic)—sits somewhere between electronic trip-hop and dissonant art rock, drawing from Blonde Redhead and Massive Attack. Their lead single Lip Service landed on ABC's Rage and Triple J Unearthed; their debut EP picked up Triple J rotation and a nod from Music Director Claire Mooney for its dark, brooding sound.
