About this event

TIJUANA CARTEL is an Australian electronic music group formed in 2003 on the Gold Coast by core members Paul George and Carey O'Sullivan. The band is known for fusing world music, particularly flamenco guitar, with deep electronic grooves, and their live shows are a key part of their reputation. Their sound combines diverse influences like Arabic motifs, Middle-Eastern sounds, dub, and roots music to create energetic, guitar-driven musicFUTURE ROOTS has been gracing dance floors from Bali’s afro disco parties at SAVAYA to Ibiza’s Namaste events at AKASHA. With his uplifting Afro house sets, traversing electronic musical influences from Africa, Latin America, Brazil and beyond, often combining live percussive element and sampling into his sets, that elevates him into a dynamic realm all his own.
