About this event

Kindred's Thursday arvo series rolls on with free live music. This week: Tabata and Shoji Hano, two heavyweights of Japan's experimental underground. Hano's a legendary free-improvisation drummer who's worked with Peter Brötzmann and Derek Bailey; Tabata's a guitarist with credits in Boredoms, ZENI GEVA, and Acid Mothers Temple. Expect improvisation that doesn't fit neatly into jazz, rock, or anything else. 1–3pm, entry free, kitchen open.
