About this event

The Takes are launching their self-titled EP at the Evelyn—a five-piece indie-rock outfit from Naarm who recorded the whole thing live in a day. They've been doing the rounds across Victoria, putting out singles like 'Shoot Me Down' and 'Something To Tell Me', and they're keen to show what they're about: vintage indie-rock hooks, sharp lyricism, and songs that shift between moods. The Mundaynes open the night—post-punk with a taste for INXS and Shame-style dynamics.
