About this event

The Johnnys bring their cowpunk racket to South Geelong this October, backed by a solid bill. Sydney's pub-rock veterans have been fusing punk and country twang since 1982—they know how to fill a room. Benny J & The Psych Ward (Perth's Benny J Ward, ex-Rinehearts, bolstered by players from The Meanies and Even) stack power pop hooks with garage grit, while Melbourne's Lava Fangs round out the lineup with surf-punk energy and a self-described trash-culture ethos. Three bands, one Friday night at the BC Bandroom.
