About this event

Wollongong four-piece The Beanstalks roll up the coast for Lizzie and Jayke's Beanie Birthday Bash at the Bulli Heritage Hotel, and everyone's welcome.

They trade in indie rock with a folk-tinged streak, the kind of down-to-earth songwriting that maps rural nostalgia, young love and the mess of your late 20s onto driving guitars and punchy hooks.

The Illawarra crew have done the rounds: a UOW Battle of the Bands win, a Yours and Owls slot, sold-out hometown headliners, and a #1 on triple j Unearthed's punk chart with anti-MLM anthem PYRAMID SCHEME. Ten bucks at the door.
