About this event

Melbourne quartet Surprise Chef are bringing new material to Crowbar for an album preview. Their instrumental sound sits somewhere between soul, funk, jazz and film-score territory — the kind of thing that started in a home studio in Coburg and ended up taking them around the world. Recorded to tape, built on spontaneous grooves and genuine musical chemistry. This is a chance to hear what they're working on next.
