About this event

Standing Circle settle into The Evelyn for a five-week Wednesday residency through July, with composer and guitarist Larry Crestani steering the band from the front of the room.

The ensemble runs deep: Sam Young on drums, Kahan Harper on percussion, Richard Rose on bass, Hue Blanes on keys, and Lorenzo on guitar and kraartar. Expect new compositions, reworked older material and the odd special guest dropping in.

It lands ahead of their debut album for Lasape Records, due in September. Doors lead into rhythm and improvisation; sets kick off at 8pm on Fitzroy's Brunswick Street.
