About this event

St Alban's Kids need no introduction as an important milestone of the niche subgenre of Screamo within so-called australia. Their sound of chaotic, experimental hardcore and grindcore sets the benchmark of what the sound of screamo was to become in the country, people within the scene only ever hear of the folkloric nature of the band and their live shows through online discourse and scraps of material found in archives. Yet we are left with a small discography of EPs and splits to contextualise the quick and fiery flash of the band's existence.but yet for the first time since their last shows (coincidently on the 8th -10th of May in 2003) We will see the band return for the first time since those dates to play a Mini fest on the 2nd of May at The Old Bar. They will be joined alongside bands marked in the deep underground history of the genre: Gil Cerrone, The World At A Glance, Keratin, World Sick and Cadmium will be apart of the chaotic fervour of the reunion show of St Alban's
