Australian guitarist Slava Grigoryan and Austrian bassist Al Slavik re-unite for an Australian tour celebrating the release of their 3rd album ‘And so, it turns’ A chance meeting in London in the mid-nineties led to a strong personal and musical bond between Australia’s premier classical guitarist and an Austrian electric bass player more ensconced in the pop/rock world of the time.What could possibly go wrong?.....nothing as it turns out.Regarded as a wizard of the guitar, Slava Grigoryan has forged a prolific reputation as a classical guitar virtuoso. Collaborations have played a huge part in Grigoryan’s career, most notable of these are in the trio with legendary USA guitarist Ralph Towner and Austrian guitarist Wolfgang Muthspiel and the duo with brother Leonard Grigoryan.
