Scotch College Adelaide brings Anaïs Mitchell's Tony Award-winning Hadestown to the newly renovated Thebarton Theatre across four nights in August. This teen-led production pairs the mythic story of Orpheus and Eurydice with a raw, industrial world—live band, revolving stage, and choreography included. Mitchell's score draws on folk, jazz and underground music; the school's ensemble and leads anchor a contemporary take on the underworld tale.
