Three local acts crowd the Tote's front bar in Collingwood on a Thursday in July. RED40PA!NCLUB headline, the psychobilly-leaning lot who shifted down from Sydney over the past year and have been knocking around Naarm rooms since. Their sound pulls from blues, noise rock and triphop, depending on the night.

They're joined by riot-grrrl indie types FunkyTown Fish and the self-described slop of Piss Wizard.

It's $11 through the door, with limited capacity on the front bar floor. Worth a look if you're chasing something rough around the edges.
