About this event

Phil Coyne & The Wayward Aces launch White Knuckle Time at Shotkickers, a new album that marks their shift from three-piece to four-piece. The night stacks TK Reeve and Benny Gerrard's hill country grooves, the Liam Kealy Trio's Hammond soul, then the Aces themselves bringing the record to life with harp-driven Australian blues and hard-swinging rhythms.

Recorded at Hailstone Studio with Paulie Bignell, White Knuckle Time captures the band's expanded firepower across original songs and a tighter rhythm section. This is their biggest Melbourne show of the year—first chance to hear the album in full, live.
