About this event

Tour the State Theatre's 2000-seat auditorium and soak in its Gothic, Italian and Art Deco interiors. You'll see the Koh-i-Nor, the world's second-largest hand-cut crystal chandelier, plus the Character Lounges—the Butterfly Room, Pioneer Room, and College Room among them. The original Wurlitzer Organ (that once accompanied silent films) and prize-winning works by William Dobell, Mary Edwards, Charles Wheeler and Raymond Lindsay round out the walk. Fair warning: tours occasionally get rescheduled at short notice.
