About this event

A guided tour of Sydney's State Theatre takes you through one of the country's most ornate venues. Walk the 2000-seat auditorium ringed by 13 hand-cut crystal chandeliers, clock the Gothic, Italian and Art Deco details, and see the Koh-i-Nor — the world's second largest hand-cut crystal chandelier. The Character Lounges (Butterfly Room, Pioneer Room, College Room) and the original Wurlitzer organ round out the lot, alongside prize-winning works by Dobell, Edwards, Wheeler and Lindsay.
