About this event

Technical death metal heavyweights Origin are making the trip down from the US, landing in the Valley at Soapbox Beer on 10 June. It's their first run on Australian soil since 2014, so Brisbane's heavy underground has had a fair wait for this one.

Eight albums deep, the Kansas outfit built their name on the blur where extreme speed meets proper composition — the sort of musicianship that's shaped a generation of death metal bands.

A small room in the Valley for a band of this stripe is the kind of night that doesn't come around often.
