About this event

Opera are a Melbourne lot, childhood mates who push math, prog and alternative into one restless rock soup. Twin guitars swap between garage scuzz and something more considered, with melodic bass and pounding drums underneath, and a plaintive voice cutting through the flurry.

They're up the top of the Bar Open bill in Fitzroy, with Pontoon and Stockings filling out the night. Thirteen bucks gets you in.

The kind of cheap, three-band Thursday the inner-north does well.
