About this event

To celebrate the release of each band's second albums, Fremantle's New Nausea and Melbourne's Kisses are hosting a very special evening of alt-folk and indie music at the historic Torbay Hall. New Nausea's latest album, "Music for Frogs" was recorded in the Torbay Hall in 2024, making it the perfect venue for the release of this album on vinyl thanks to New Zealand Label Holiday Records and Perth's Rockton Records. "Music for Frogs" has been six years in the making. It’s a storied album of a pursuit of self belief, community, and love out from the swamps of grief and anxiety. New Nausea's live performances reflect the album's humour, playfulness and catharsis. To accompany the release of their second album "You Are In My Dreams" Naarm/Melbourne's Kisses grace WA with their utterly beautiful, whimsical, and intimate brand of genre-bending folk. This being their first visit to Western Australia, a folk fans should not miss this rare chance to see one of Australia's best up and coming
