About this event

Auxiliary Records is a new Perth-based label and creative platform, and they're marking the launch with a takeover of The Bird in Northbridge. Fitting that a label built on backing WA's independent scene kicks off with a bill this varied.

My First Rodeo gathers a genre-hopping lineup: the indie hip-hop of Chatters, Stacey Ann's folk-pop duo, the alt-indie pop of Dolce Blue and Harry Foxton's dusty alt-country. RTRFM's Lee Vixen handles DJ selections to start the night.

Eighteen bucks for a room full of local talent and a label finding its feet. Doors at The Bird, June 12.
