About this event

Meatshell are bringing their third album 'The Elevator Child' to Bar Open, the Fitzroy duo of Helen Svoboda (bass, voice, electronics) and Andrew Saragossi (saxophone, electronics) expanding to a quartet with Pat Telfer and Dylan van der Schyff for the night. The record finds them working through absurdist, rhythmic territory—defiantly hopeful stuff that marries complex arrangements with something close to pop sensibility. Niran Dasika and Mia Barham play support.
