About this event

The Toowoomba Philharmonic Society are putting on a themed afternoon at their Harristown home: a programme of wedding and funeral standards, the music that bookends most lives.

The choir and instrumentalists handle it, split across two halves with an interval to stretch the legs and grab a cuppa.

It's a community choir doing what community choirs do best, so expect familiar tunes done with care rather than spectacle. One for anyone who's sat through enough ceremonies to know the repertoire by heart.
