About this event

Liam Watts And The Electric Red Messengers once again lay claim to Cactus Room and wheel in the wall of sound. Supported by Tasmanian psych warriors Joel Green Band and the best band in Melbourne Sweet Nothing.Liam Watts uses his symphony of loud fuzzed guitars to bring a mix of both catchy pop songs and 8 minute prog epics to life. Watts and the Messengers live show strives to bring all their music alive in it’s most energetic form and is executed in classic late 60’s wall of sound fashion (think Blue Cheer, MC5, The Who). the show merges heavy rock with slight glimmers of jazz, prog and folk for a dynamic and gripping spectacle.
