About this event

Manouche jazz lands at the Kew Court House this July for a Bastille Week special. Noria and the Parisians work the gypsy-swing tradition — the guitar-and-string interplay, the swing, the pace of it all.

French chanteuse Noria Letts fronts the group, with a project built around writing lyrics for Manouche tunes.

It's a mid-week set in a room that's grown into a solid spot for this kind of thing on Melbourne's east side. One for anyone who leans toward the Django Reinhardt end of the jazz map.
