About this event

Kelly's Wayke have a proper origin story: the band came together at an Irish wake for Mick Murphy, with the old songs the Kelly and Murphy families grew up on filling the back room of a pub. The publican kept the jukebox off and let them play on.

Now they bring that mix to the Wheatsheaf in Thebarton, blending original tunes with traditional Irish numbers.

Damien Kelly on vocals and bodhran, Mae Traeger on fiddle, Carl Pink on guitar, plus Emma Hinch. A Saturday for a singalong and a few pints on Adelaide's western edge.
