About this event

Swedish dark-metal stalwarts Katatonia touch down in Perth in October 2026, hauling material from their latest album Nightmares as Extensions of the Waking State alongside deep cuts from three decades of goth-tinged, melodic heaviness. Since the Stockholm outfit broke through in the '90s, they've knitted death/doom, shoegaze and prog into something bleaker and more intricate with each cycle. Live, they're known for pulling from the full catalogue—expect The Great Cold Distance and Dead End Kings alongside fresh songs, all delivered with the kind of precision that keeps the hooks sharp and the atmosphere genuinely unsettling.
