About this event

House of Shem bring The Matariki Tour to Beenleigh Tavern, just south of the Gold Coast, for a roots reggae night that's been a while coming.

The Aotearoa band were formed by the late Carl Perkins, once of NZ group HERBS, alongside sons Te Omeka and Isaiah, working a sound built on family, culture and harmonies. After a long stretch away from Australian stages, this is a rare chance to catch them in a smaller room.

Special guests Brutha Rodz and The Lyrical round out the bill.
