About this event

Horns of Leroy are back in Thornbury for a Sunday night brass workout, doors at 7:30 and two sets from 8pm. Note the timing: it's Public Holiday Eve, so no work-tomorrow excuses.

The Melbourne outfit has been at it since 2013, drawing on New Orleans brass and running it through local energy. They've played everywhere from the MCG to Hamer Hall, plus the festival circuit — Splendour, Dark Mofo, the Melbourne International Jazz Festival.

Twenty-four bucks for a full horn section in a small room is a fair deal.
