About this event

Hazelwood project is a new Naarm, Melbourne, based band combining jazz and folk in original compositions. Coming together in 2025 they draw influences from a variety of artists and their respective genres from Racing Mount Pleasant and Matt Carmichael to Adrianne Lenker and Melbourne’s own, Spirograph Studies.Their compositions aim to explore the relationship between sound and feeling as well as the connection we have as people with the world around us.After recently making their live debut they are excited to share the new music they’ve been writing! They will be joined by The Owen Wilkins Quartet and The So-Called “Free-Thinkers” for a night of folk and jazz at The Tote!
