Glasshives are back at the Old Bar to mark the release of their debut single "Overloading", the first taste of a forthcoming album. The Melbourne four-take-it-as-it-comes indie rockers lean on cutting riffs and psychedelic grooves, wearing their 90s influences (Pavement, BJM, Pixies) without disappearing into them.

It's a single launch on the Johnston Street sticky carpet, with Great Australian Bank and Grevillea Hedge on support. Eleven bucks to catch an emerging band at the start of a new run. Doors as listed.
