About this event

Portugal's Gaerea make their first trip to Australia this July, landing at Max Watts in Melbourne on a Friday night. The black-clad fivesome trade in extreme metal and full-body anonymity, faces hidden behind their sigil so the focus stays on the music and the ritual built around it.

If you've been following the band on record without ever catching them in a room, this is the chance to see how it translates live. Doors and curfew details to come, but the date's locked in.
