About this event

Gaba Wright & The High Tides bring their synth-rock to Vic on the Park, the Marrickville room that anchors a good slice of the inner-west's live calendar. Expect anthemic, melody-heavy tunes leaning on 80s power-pop synths and alt-rock guitars.

Western Sydney's Xingfu (pronounced shing-foo) round out the bill, a five-piece indie-rock outfit known for a three-guitar wall of sound and an introspective streak that occasionally tips over into a party.

It's a Saturday night in June at one of Marrickville's reliable pub stages.
