About this event
The Four Scoops trade in back-beat groove, drawing on the era where jazz met early rock and roll. Expect a wide spread: Wynonie Harris-style blues shouters, Louis Jordan jump numbers, fifties crooners, even bolero reworkings of Cold Chisel and Dragon.
No cover, an early finish, and a bill built on the members' differing backgrounds. Decent way to start a weekend on Brunswick Street.
