About this event

Erik Weideman, the voice behind ARIA-winning band 1927, brings a solo show to the Wallaby Hotel in Mudgeeraba this July.

Stripped back from the full band, the set runs through 1927's catalogue - tracks like "That's When I Think of You", "If I Could" and "Compulsory Hero" - alongside personal picks and some previously unheard material.

Weideman reckons it's the lack of a band's safety net that lets the story of each song come through. A quieter night on the Gold Coast for anyone who grew up with these records.
