About this event
This is Weideman on his own, no band behind him, running through 1927's hits like "That's When I Think of You", "If I Could" and "Compulsory Hero", alongside personal picks and some previously unheard compositions.
His pitch is that stripping the songs back to one voice and instrument uncovers the story behind each one. If you know the catalogue, it's a chance to hear it up close on a Saturday night.
