About this event

This one's a bit of a departure from the usual bill. The Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy sets up shop at Albert Palais Events on Catherine Street, Leichhardt, turning the room into a gothic-styled cocktail den for a 90-minute run.

Expect four Poe tales performed by so-called Poe Historians, each paired with a themed cocktail: Tell-Tale Heart, The Black Cat, The Raven and The Masque of the Red Death. Zero-proof mocktails are on offer if you ask on the night.

Slotted in on Halloween, it's immersive theatre and drinks rather than a straight gig.
