About this event

The Doric String Quartet bring their run to Perth, with clarinettist Lloyd Van't Hoff joining them at the Regal Theatre in Subiaco.

On the programme is Thomas Adès' Alchymia, a string quartet work that draws on the music of Shakespearean England while staying very much its own thing. It's chamber music with real weight behind it.

Worth the trip for anyone here who follows the quartet circuit and doesn't often get visitors of this calibre coming west.
